The vibe of Ascension will be readily discernible from its physical
appearance.  This will clearly be a place where energy magicians, erotic
visionaries, and prophets of all stripes can converge.  Once again Ascension will be a beacon on the Esplanade for mind-expansion of the embodied, ecstatic variety -- but now with three times the structures and
installations as last year, we will make an even bigger impression.

Physically, our camp will look like a much larger and enhanced version of last year's Ascension Tribe.  Our large structures are:

• The 24' dome from last year, with a "throne structure" out in front of it, with a large sign and the disco ball that has made us so easy to spot the last four years.
  
  
• Our unique burn barrel
  
  
• Performance staging area
  
  
• Camp kitchen (10x20)

The dome will be decorated with a number of hanging fabrics inside, and EL-wire signage and decoration outside.  There will again be an entryway leading into the dome, under which people can gather and wait for the programming -- and through which people must pass, so it's easy to keep out kids and spectators.  Behind the dome will be the usual assortment of private spaces -- RVs, a dome and shade structure, greywater and recycling, all the usual stuff.
